La FAYEssociation |
"La FAYEssociation" was created in September 2001 with the mission of taking part in the saving and
the restoration of the castle of La Faye and of helping to the development of the site.
Indeed, the new owners of then felt so much in love with the place that they decided to make the
Castle known as much as they could.
An association is the best way to federate around this project all those who wish to take part of
the adventure.
And concretely?
La FAYEssociation do not work in a pyramidal way and encourage private initiative.
The idea is to work by sections, each section being supervised by an active member of the
association, member of the Board of Directors.
The members can take part in the actions of clearance of undergrowth, in the contacts with the
companies to seek partnerships and sponsors, in the contacts with civil authorities, in the actions
of quickening of the site, the organisation of events, etc...
More concretely!
La FAYEssociation is going to organise two events next summer to make its action known.
First of all, at the end of JULY 2002 we are to organize a Tourism Race meeting with topic.
No sporting claim here, but a trans-Auvergnat tourist route marked out with various ludic tests
which will be finishing nearby the castle. Thereby we hope to make concrete our will to make of La
FAYEssociation a local tourism agent.
In August 2002, a classical music concert is foressen in Augerolles, small village of
Puy-de-Dome where resides the registered office of La FAYEssociation.
